    I'm surprised he stayed up.
He had a unique determination and focus for this fight.

If a punch landed like that in a Lewis-Holyfield bout, people would talk about it like it was cool and special, and a very noteworthy part of the fight.
    Ah, well...

It was well placed, and well timed. I actually appreciated Max not doing his usual, I'm going throw my hardest punch you can see coming from a mile away. He actually set this up well, and disguised it well, it just didn't have all that much power on it imo. It would hurt any of us no doubt, but it wasn't a overly impressive punch by professional standards.

If it also took them over 6 times to see the punch, then sadly yes.
If you missed the punch, and not when watching the fight, but repeating the clip 6 times, I wonder what else you miss...

It was a heavy blow and it hurt Braddock. I think that same punch directly on the button rather than where it landed would have dropped the challenger.

There are examples in some of your heavybag clips (all jokes aside).

You mean when I land with my front knuckles? It's not a slap. Great punchers often do this too, including Louis. It requires less setup. When you can punch hard with the shoulder snap, it's a perfectly good way to deliver power.

    Example:

Now, if that wild, follow up right had landed, then Braddock sure as hell would have gone down.

I didn't miss the punch I just dont think it was a punch that had enough oomph behind it to score a ko and plenty agree with me.Of course there is no chance that you could be wrong!
