[GIF] Tony Galento hits Louis with two monster left hooks

People might laugh at the fatso, but Galento was no someone you'd want to f*ck with in the street. You can see he's not some flabby, soft chubbs. He packed.

 

Galento did catch Luis with this telegraphed left hook and did hurt him badly and then 4 clowns tell me that David tua would not have chance to knock Luis clean out.Keep realist.

and where is the relevance here comparing his left hook with tua´s? tua was bigger, faster,stronger, hits harder and faster, was in better shape and took a much better shot. h2h tua kill galento in 1 single round.. propably he ends like a porky on the ropes semi died

 

57kos in 111 fights is nothing but garbage.( the trash that galento was)

43 kos in 59 fights is a great % of ko(tua)(43ko in 52wins). and tua fought much bigger,stronger athletes. not archaic 200 pounders

 

Tua and Galento is a valid comparison. The were both limited but dangerous sluggers with powerful left hooks. They were both famous, but in the end lost to the best fighters they faced.

Tua was a much more serious fighter though, and although he wasn't always in the best shape his training was miles better than was Galento's.

The left hook that felled Louis was very powerful, but I feel it was an anomaly. Louis didn't give Galento enough respect and had decided to carry him for while, then he got caught with that hook and quickly changed his mind and stopped Galento the very next round. Apart from that brief moment of success it was a one-sided beating.

 

Have to agree that Tua's left hook would be more dangerous that Galento's...and Tua would have stopped Galento early.
