First time watching Yuri Arbachakov. Incredible technician with a great style-- I look forward to watching more of his fights (any recommendations?). Some short clips of him: Closing distance to land a beautifully-timed lead right, using footwork and upper body movement to avoid Kittikasem's punches, while remaining in position to counter. Great boxing: https://streamable.com/dsrnu Throwing nice lead rights, using great lateral movement, and pumping out a smooth triple jab while circling laterally: https://streamable.com/tik44 EDIT: Forgot the classic knockout sequence: https://streamable.com/kqt4c
This content is protected This reminds me of Arbachakov, of course they are different sizes, but Holyfield, when he boxed (and didn't just fight), was smooth and excellent fundamentally. He used his legs to get angles and get himself into and out of range in this fight.
Nice one kevin, I thought of doing a thread on this fight a while back but didn't expect many responses. Kittikasem was a very good fighter at his best, the way Arbachakov dismantled him twice was a serious achievement. He reminds me a bit of Tszyu and Golovkin in certain aspects, though I consider him a more talented, skilled fighter overall.
