He punches looked good but were not hurting Pac? Are you dumb or just delusional? Look at Pac's head snapping back from almost every punch Marquez landed. Marquez clearly fought with a right offense as he was the closest of all people to beat Pac and many actually thought he won.

And who cares about the faces? It doesnt work that way. Wlad also had a more busted up face vs Haye, youre not going to tell me that Haye won based on that, will you?

Pacquiao even said "he hurt me (but I thought I won.)" If you're thinking you agree with the latter because the former didn't happen, well then you have a contradiction.

Ummmm, no. If you noticed, Marquez trained to counter Manny's jabs with a duck followed by a straight right hand. He didn't aim it at his shoulder, that's ridiculous. Marquez didn't throw his right immediately after the jab, so Pac had time to react but he (stupidly) threw another terrible jab while Marquez finally threw his right. Marquez missed his right but hes good enough to position himself on the outside while doing it. That + the fact that Manny was throwing his jab put Marquez in the position to capitalize and throw two more punches for free basically.

Take note......Marquez works off of his unbelievable boxistical instincts.
He was prepared to fight a two fisted Pacquiao. One that would lead with the jab and hook off of it, or the wild hard to tame Pacquiao of old thats left hand happy.

In this sequence you talk about Pacquiao feints the right jab while Marquez is ready to parry it with his left hand....right then Marquez anticipates Pacquiao to come with another jab he leans to left to slip it. Then comes the right hand by Marquez to Pacquiao's shoulder. No question in my mind it was placed there intentional as Pacquiao's position never moved while Marquez unleached it, and Marquez unleached it chest level.
Had he intended to hit Pacquiao's head with it, he'd have looped it over the top from the angle he was in.

This is boxing 101 to skill fighters like Marquez, Hopkins, and Mayweather. They intentionally hit opponents arms, elbows and shoulders to create openings for themselves.
.....a tremendous ammount of time and dedication by fighters like Marquez are spent in the gym practicing creating such openings.
Marquez' anticipation skills are just phenominal. Such skills are developed over years and years of sparring and work in the Gym.
This notion that Pacquiao was a changed fighter and became a boxing technical dynamo from his rematch with Marquez to his next fight with David Diaz as Freddy Roach claimed on the 24/7's is absurd.

What you're seeing here from Marquez comes from well over a decade of total dedication to the art and craft of whats called "BOXEO.":bbb
