Very sad news indeed, trained some truly brilliant fighters in his time and made a good commentator in my opinion. He'll be sorely missed in the world.

    Sad news.

Clancy was a very good and respected trainer and his commentating together with Tim Ryan made one of the best tandems ever.

    RIP.

He'll likely get a memorial 10-count of silence on ESPN2 tomorrow, assuming they know of it.

Same here.....he was simply one of the very best.

Clancy was the ****ing man, the coolest old dude ever. He was a walking boxing encyclopedia, the man has so much knowledge, very wise. This is the saddest boxing death for me since Alexis Arguello.:-(
