Would be a battle of strong, fast, hard hitting Welters, both as athletic as they are tough.

Turner faced top Middles as well as Welters, how does he fare in a shoot out with 'Sugar' Shane?

Turner really impressed me in fights with Kid Gavilan, Joey Giardello and Gene Fullmer. Shane is one of my favourite fighters currently. Which Shane would be the best equipped to fight Turner (no roid jokes please).

Was gonna pit Turner against Cotto but felt Turners rushes would eventually tire Miguel out and force a stoppage. Shane is a different animal entirely, with the durability to give as much as he ges from Turner, which will he a lot.

Both men have jabs that jolt the head of their opponents back before throwing fast, thudding combos.

    12 rounds, 8 oz gloves

Id go with Mosley but it would be a war..Probably something like the first Hoya-Mosley fight but more in the trenches stuff. I see Shane getting on top late and stopping Gil..because Turner will leave it all in the ring for this one. Shane might have to come from behind.

I think Mosley's class and versatility will ultimately prevail, but only after a brutal, fast-paced war with the relentless Turner.

Good matchup Flea, it would be a great fight.

If Mosley chooses to box and move like he did in the first DLH fight, he might edge Turner out because he is a tad quicker and cagier, but if Mosley takes it to Turner (which i think he probably will, this one could go either way. It took a peak Gavilan 11 rounds of the most vicious fighting I have ever seen to subdue Turner, and I'm not sure Turner would wilt before Mosley does if it becomes such a battle of attrition. As anyone that has seen Turner's fights would know, he has tremendous dig, so he won't go down easily.

Guys, I too think Mosley would edge a war of attrition.

This one would be a relentless, brutal fight.
