De la Hoya is stepping in with quick jabs on the face and then hooking the body as he passes by Estrella. Long overhands by the 5'2" Estrella, leaping in with them. De la Hoya is boxing him at medium-long range, headhunting with the jab and scoring in quick doubles & triples.

De la Hoya is thrusting out long combinations from outside and puncturing Estrella's guard. Jab, uppercut, sweeping hook lands for De la Hoya. Bursts of multiple 1-2s by De la Hoya. Estrella is circling and covering up, throwing pinball machine paddle combos at De la Hoya's sides as he winds his way in close. De la Hoya spirals outside, his footwork much fleeter, and keeps the jab in Estrella's face despite some head movement from the latter. Estrella rocked a few times but hanging tough.

Round 4

De la Hoya is drilling Estrella with the 1-2 at will. Estrella is strafing left, arms raised over his face, lowering them as he presses in tight against De la Hoya and starts thumping away with double uppercuts. Lazy jab by Estrella, punished with a blazing pull-counter 1-2 by De la Hoya. Lead hooks by De la Hoya get Estrella to shift his guard to his right, opening a lane for the uppercut. Big dash-in left hook and chopping right combo by De la Hoya. The first punch is netted on the arms but the second crashes down and sends Estrella HARD onto the canvas by way of the bottom rope. He rises, somehow, but De la Hoya is atop him and the ref soon waves it off.

DDLH is a great prospect. He dealt with Robles much easier than Oscar Negrete - or JoJo Diaz, for that matter.
