ODLH may look and sound like a f###wit but he knows how to put a goo card with fan friendly fights together.

CBS reminds me of Callum Smith - Big size advantage but never a thought given to using length. How can you be a tall professional fighter and not have a jab?

He’s more stocky than anything, also slow and stiff, his jab lacks snap for me so don’t think he suits boxing at range. He’s better up close using his strength and weight to wear people down.

Yeah it's a fine tactic for him b/c he has no jab. My point thougth is how does one spend years in the gym and be good enough to turn pro and no trainer ever has made him work on his jab? You can be stocky and still jab. A jab would help him against fighters with better feet and help him against combination punchers.

yeah makes sense, a few beers deep and not a trainer so only answer I can think of is it doesn’t come naturally and ends up compromising the rest of his style as he overthinks rather than fighting instinctively. Not sure when he joined mcguigan but probably when pro and Bournemouth isn’t known for top class gyms as far as I’m aware having grown up there (sorry if I’m wrong and offended anyone) so perhaps always relied on his physical gifts.

I honestly think it was 97 times better. Just my humble opinion.

No, this card was an exception. GBP cards are typically pretty lackluster and lack depth.

it's all good. I'm not a trainer either. I think you're very likely right in thinking CBS has probably relied on his natural advantages.

I would assume that as Chris is a ticket seller in the UK, and the cruisers don’t have many big names, that he will likely be an attractive proposition for the WBC as a voluntary for Mickalanien. Would pay nicely for Mick, who doesn’t have many options with Zurdo/Opetaia unification likely - and Chris will do numbers at the Vitality stadium. So hopefully maybe a tune up and then a summer date for WBC?
