Ah yes, forgot about that. Eddie Howe managed Bournemouth too, jogged my memory when the camera went on him.

I’m not a fan at all but this might be the night when I give it a chance, nowt else on boxing wise and I lowered my standards by watching that nonsense last night, I only watched it in the hope that Tyson might get one lucky shot in.
What time will the heavyweight fight be? Iam not stopping up for it but if it’s on in the next 20 minutes I might swallow my pride and take a peek

It will be very late fella, don’t think the main card begins until 3am. Best off getting some kip now and setting an alarm for 5.

Yeah they played a blinder there bought by a consortium formed by partners with the Saudi kingdom and then the partners sell their shares, but only coincidence not planned or anything

Nope iam out not going to go out of my way for it. To much brash production for me to endure, never mind I wouldn’t have enjoyed it anyway.

Agreed - didn’t used to be a fan but find the majority of fights entertaining as I’ve started to understand the technical side. That said I usually watch it post night out when half cut. The undercards tend to be better than your average boxing card, usually competitive.

100% a good example is this prelim fight right now between Onama and Romero. An exciting up and down fight with momentum shifts in favour of each fighter. Don't know a single thing about either fighter but it’s entertaining as hell.

Nelson always struggles to give any cruiser boxer praise as he himself thinks he’is greatest ever at the weight.

He wants to portray that image but he must know he was a bore in a skirt who didn't really beat anyone that was that good.

Just listened to him on Sky Sports News and came on here to say this exact same thing. Never forget him calling Usyk average.

He must be secretly burning inside, going from the lead summariser on Sky in their heyday, to spending his time at women's fights and doing 2-min talking head slots on the news for cards he wasn't at. Even the BBC sent an online reporter to the Tyson fight.

CBS threw the kitchen sink at Zurdo and took his beating like a real champion, a real fighting man giving his all and leaving nothing behind in the ring.

No hiding post fight, no excuses, recognised the great performance of his opponent and a great credit to Bournemouth and British Boxing.

Zurdo was written off by many pre fight due to his appearance, small size and his defeat to elite level Bivol and not many on here thought he was going to last long after the first round last night.

Zurdo absorbed huge punches from CBS last night, put on a boxing clinic and is a very likeable genuine humble man giving huge credit to his opponent.

Great fight and I hope CBS can recover from this as it did look like a Calzaghe v Lacy type beating.

How was Ramirez written off by many prior to the match? First I've heard of that. I'm struggling to figure out how anybody could favour Smith given that his period at 'world level' hasn't been very long nor that impressive. Smith is also not a very big puncher. He's just a workhorse. A pretty boring boxer, in my opinion.
