    Round 8

López is whipping the body with light shots on either side and then grinding in, fists bunched under his chin. Barboza is relaxing, barely even moving his legs anymore, feeling safe enough just sitting in the pocket slipping or blocking shots and spanking López with his own pendulous hooks. Barboza pushes López into the ropes and works a body-slapping combo and then stuffs a few jabs into his mouth.

    10-9 Barboza

    80-72 Barboza

Contrary to what Joe Tessitore might think (for some reason he is either rooting hard for López and/or has a vendetta of some kind against Barboza Jr. :nusenuse:) so far there hasn't been a round you could even argue for López.

    Round 9

López is throwing body shots galore, touching Barboza with a few but getting hit with twice as many in return. Barboza is still leaning in against him, pushing off against López's chest only to boomerang in with two- and three-pieces on the jaw. López hurt a few times but still pumping out shots. Right hand scores obliquely for López. Barboza is sensing that López isn't capable of generating much greater force than what he is feeling in these grazing shots, and so he starts to pour it on. López eats SEVERAL bombs on the face, Barboza stringing together straights in bunches of half a dozen or so before López is able to get his gloves up in the way.

    10-9 Barboza, nearly 10-8

    90-81 Barboza

No, I got your back, Zurdo was rocked to his core in the first fight, and came within a hair of going down late, and since the first fight Zurdo again was rocked to his core by Bezerra. Hart is a live dog in this one and is more than capable of yes winning by KO.

Flair recently overcame some bad health scares(drinking and drug related) after about 4-5 months of hard training he's looking to return to the ring at 69. Tank Abbott also nearly died recently during a liver transplant. He said he was clinically dead a few times and suffered a few strokes during it. Lost over 100 lbs and seems a bit slower but other than that he's still your typical Abbott in interviews.

Hooker, Ramírez, Baranchyk and Relikh - wow, I didn't realize the world titlist class at 140lb currently was quite so weak.

Yeah, actually, maybe Arnold Barboza Jr. could just grab himself a belt, despite being unable to bust an egg.

Whoo count has reached 200.

I swear they've done it at least six times a minute, since the opening bell...sometimes a chorus of them overlapping.

Thanks mate :). Makes me feel a lot better, honestly. Funny listening to the callers at the end of the last round, mentioning the best 140 pounders but Josh Taylors name not mentioned.

    Round 10

Barboza is consistently splitting the guard of López, stamping the 1 and 2 on his nose with impunity from any range he likes, never in danger of getting hit with anything except incidental leather, never squarely with the upper two knux. Barboza continues to work the body to further sap whatever stores of energy López may have been counting on dumping in his last stand. López is barely able to stand, getting cracked with shots and wilting but that lack of power of Barboza's is sufficient to see him survive.

    10-9 Barboza

    100-90 Barboza

Barboza could MAYBE beat Relikh or Ramirez, but he’d get destroyed by Hooker or Baranchyk. I think it’d be a mistake to think he has a good chance of winning against any of those 4 though.

Its always hilarious when they intentionally leave out the absolute best in the division, because he's not one of "their guys". Kind of like those bitches on HBO neglecting the current Lineal LHW champ Gvozdyk when hyping their boy Bivol.

    Barboza officially calls out Ramírez!!

He says he isn't worried about his lack of power, which he acknowledges openly and without embarrassment. He says he can defeat Ramírez with footwork and speed, and that Ramírez has so far only beaten guys that square up to him and don't move well.

I like this kid, he comes off pretty sharp in this interview. Also, very refreshing to hear a list of thanks given with NONE for either of boxing's two biggest cliches (Al Haymon and "God") - just Top Rank, the fans, and his trainer/dad.

Well, to be fair, guys, listing the world title belt holders on a graphic like that on pretty much any television broadcast is fairly conventional/standardized. Yeah they sometimes flesh it out to a top 15 or 10 or whatever, but the most common thing you see is just a straightforward listing of who currently wears the WBO, IBF, WBC, and WBA.

TTT may indeed be the uncrowned king, but he is at present "only" a Silver champ. :deal:

I don't think you can really call that omission an intentional slight, in other words, that's jumping at shadows.
