    Round 8

Díaz is grinding in close, not letting Fortuna get away with his negative tactics of running or clinching. They just swap reacharound body shots in the trenches for most of the round. Both getting their flanks spanked and occasionally getting broken apart by the ref when there is a headlock applied or the like. Fortuna diving in behind flurries during these moments, taking away the play from Díaz until they start to exchange body slaps again up close.

    10-9 Fortuna

    76-75 Fortuna

Round 9 was the cleanest for jojo so far. Looked like javier needed a breather at the end.

    Round 9

Díaz is digging hard on the body, charging up each shot. Fortuna is just erring on the side of getting in touches, palming Díaz about the neck and ears with light hooks and otherwise carrying both arms by his sides while dancing around the perimeter. Díaz with some big uppercuts when they are close and sniping at Fortuna, tickling his cheeks with right jabs when they aren't.

    10-9 Díaz, close
