If that level of disappointment doesn't encourage someone to hunker down and force themselves inside out to do much better next time, then nothing will. Unfortunately, I'm all but certain Junior has a mental block that's so profound, no one is capable of getting through to him or to motivate him. He's that dead inside and disconnected. I would suggest therapy, but it would do him zero good, because he's probably incapable of opening up.

De La Hoya's instincts are getting worse and worse the older he gets. Nothing about Iriarte has impressed me to date, yet he's over the moon about him. Don't don't drugs kids!

 

He has take a lot of punishment, but he's also taken relative litle over the last 5 years, whereas Zurdo has been in a ton of rough matches over the last 5, which might even things out a little.
