    Round 10

González is getting driven into the corner with pinpoint jabs and lefts on the chin. Ramírez Sánchez is slipping the counter shots and flurrying nonstop with straights, pushing for a stoppage. Ref having a close look - and jumps in, as the opponent flails helplessly.

    TKO10!!

This version of Ramirez gets destroyed by Beterbiev and beaten easily by Bivol. Even Joe Smith might be a favorite.

    Round 10
    Ramirez wins by KO.

Not impressive by Ramirez. Gonzalez should retire, his legs are gone and his punch resistance is just about gone. He's tough as nails though.

Ramirez had Gonzales in bad shape in the 6th I dont understand the change in strategy from the corner to not go out and finish him in the 7th

No way. This ref was perfect. Unlike many he didn't panic and stop this fight prematurely

I give Ramirez credit as he made adjustments and showed grit but this fight really puts his ability at lhw into perspective as Yuniesky was a fringe contender at best and was beaten much more decisively before

Good stoppage Gonzales was hurt....good performance but at 36 and a lifetime in the Cuban program he should consider retirement, he probably has no other real source of income

He repelled a spirited effort by a game and dangerous opponent tonight, which is creditable - but this version of Zurdo would be outpointed by Dmitry Bivol and knocked out by Artur Beterbiev, Joe Smith Jr., and Canelo.
