I thought Zurdo was gonna fight someone at Cruiser next. What, did the idea of fighting someone closer to his actual weight prove too daunting?

Kovalev said Zurdo turned down two offers to fight him at cruiser and he turned Cieslak as well.

At what weight? I don“t think Zurdo is ever making 175 again, so probably a cruiserweight fight or some crazy catchweight.

Ordinarily I'd take Smith here,,,but I wonder about his desire at this point. Right now at 175 there's no conceivable path to a title with Bivol and Beterbiev in the division. I like Joe and hope he prospers but I'd hate to see him be cannon fodder.

I think he's at the phase where he'll take a good payday without really thinking about advancing his career. I agree that he's going to get chewed up and spit out if he keeps at it, but he might have one or two more good performances left.

Smith has a punchers chance, but I see him getting outboxed and losing a lopsided decision.

Good fight, mediocre boxer vs a great puncher. I think Joe wins this.

I'm liking Zurdo. Kind of a cross roads fight but Joe Smith more to lose.

Really good fight. Might have to go with Joe on this one.
