Good fight. Let’s see how they bounce back after their losses. Zurdo was an easier fight than Smith for Bivol.

A fight where I really don't care who wins/loses. I don't think highly of either but I think less of Zurdo than Smith. I think Smith breaks the frail body of Ramirez.

I like Ramirez in this fight. I regard him as a more complete fighter and I think he can soak up Smith's power at 200. Smith really isn't built like a CW, imo.

    So what's the catchweight?

Last I heard, they were pushing for 190 lbs.

Will Zurdo try and make weight this time?

Are you serious? Did you see smith against Beterbiev? He looked a division bigger and we all know Beterbiev fought as a cruiser in the amateurs.

Smith has a punchers chance, but I think Zurdo will outbox him to a UD.

He's pretty broad in the shoulders.

Smith is only 6-0, which is shorter for CW, whereas Ramirez is 6-2 and 1/2. Smith also has a rangy build. He does have long arms and broad shoulders but is not particularly thick.

Mind you, Smith's whole game is power. And this a "normal" jump up one division, given that it's an extra 25 pounds. This might be a good era for a LHW to do something at 200 because the division is so weak (like Badou Jack has), but I'm not optimistic about Smith.

Should be a good fight and I'll watch, tho!
