http://www.boxingnews24.com/2012/10/saldivia-may-need-to-ko-kell-brook-to-get-victory-in-uk/ Had to reply: You really are a **** Gilfoid. How many times have you written noncencicle drivell about Kell Brook's 'so called' gifted decision against Carson Jones? AND, you get paid to write this crap!! Any boxing fan clearly saw Kell win a close decision against a very game Jones. I was at the fight ringside and, yes, Cason certainly came on strong in the second half of the fight, but to say he won 'at least' one of the first 6 rounds hands down is bollocks! (Which round? To say he won 'at least one of the first 6 rounds' is a bit vague for a consumate professional like yourself isn't it) Another classic statement by top boxing scribe Scott Gilfoid!! Jones fought well but he categorically DID NOT win a minute of the first 7 rounds, he was schooled! I concede, Jones put up a fantastic fight in the 8th, 9th and 10th, Kell came back in the 11th and Jones was brilliant in the 12th. A close but clear victory for Kell Brook! What's with the sudden Saldavia crush anyway pal? Do you HONESTLY think it's going to be a close decision on October 20th? I don't! Saldavia isn't a Carson Jones, he's not even a Matt Hatton imo. You really need to stop bashing our UK fighters. You seem to have some sort of grudge against them. Why? Did you have a one-night-stand with a British guy and he never called back? We have some fantastic boxers over here in the UK, some great champions like Carl Froch and Ricky Burns and some great up and comers like Kell Gavin Rees and Carl Frampton. I, for one, am proud of the success our fighters are enjoying. You really need to find something else to write about as all of your 'UK bashing' is getting a bit boring now. Maybe look at writing children's books as fiction seems to be your niche!! Twat!!
The guy is a ****ing **** and he's got a raging hard on for Deontay Wilder, and always puts down price and fury, so I wrote an "article", aping his style sent it in and it got posted ROFL
By Alex Hedges: Deontay Wilder (25-0) turns 27 this month, and as the years continue to roll by the level of opposition continues to stay the same. No longer a novice, a young man new to the professional ranks, Deontay Wilder needs to either put up or shut up. So far in his career, Wilder has been drip-fed a steady diet of perennial losers, no hopers, guys that are just happy to be there. His last fight was a case in point, Wilder took on the 5’11″ 39 year old Damon McCreary. Clearly a fighter past his best McCreary was a former super middleweight with one fight in 5 years. He was grossly overweight and had no business being in a boxing ring, Wilder Blasted him out in two rounds in a performance that meant nothing. I would love to see Wilder take a huge step up in class, and fight David Price, or perhaps Tyson Fury. But I fear that is much too big of an ask for Wilder, wou would be horribly outmatched and outclassed in every aspect against those guys. Wilder trades on his size and youth, but would be dwarfed by the 6’9″ Fury and 6’8″ Price, who are far too young to fall into the age range Wilder likes to fight. Perhaps Wilder could take on one of the guys that Price or Fury had already softened up? John Mcdermott would be a good step up in class for Wilder, having been stopped by both Fury and Price in recent years, Wilder could hope to use his height and reach to keep Mcdermott at bay, it would be a risky fight though, and I see Mcdermott closing the distance and landing a big right hand, leaving Wilder quivering and convulsing on the canvas. If you got enjoyment from writing that you may have twigged on how Gilfoid gets off on the **** he writes.
This Gilfoid guy would be chuckling if he read this thread. Even he'd surprised at how so many take his **** seriously.
Sometimes when I want to have a good laugh I read one or two of his articles, wich mostly exactly opposites the trolls here on ESB. His hate for British boxers is so over the top that it's pretty funny, as long as you don't read too many of his trolling articles.
True, I learned to ignore his articles too. ^^ That is true too. Only thing is that it totally demeans any value the site has as a boxing news website, I wrote a few genuine articles for it but wouldn't bother anymore because it's full of trolls.
Gilfoid is not serious, hes actually pretty clever, I have literally seen him praise a fighter to the high heavens in one article, then absolutely **** on them and their entire career the next week after they lose a fight, it is pretty funny
cheers guys, thought as much, wasnt sure if he was a troller or just one of those dicks who disagree with everything anyone else has to say just to be a tool. Never been a massive fan of boxingnews24 becasue of the standard of some of the articles so not seen too much of what he writes. What i have seen has been bollocks and bias though. Is he even a real person or a number of people trolling does anyone know? ill take his 'articles' with a pinch of salt from now on.
