Gimme answers guys: the Best Fight You've Ever Seen????

For me the ONE fight that stands out is Gatti v Ward 1.

A lot of people say that it isn't as great because the guys weren't elite or as skilled as the likes of Corrales, Castillo, Morales...etc. But this fight is one I can keep going back to and it retains that excitement even though I know he outcome.

Other than that,

Arguello vs. Pryor 1 - Both guys show some impossible skill and the action is about as consistant as you can get. Long 14 rounder, unexpected KO win, cheating contoversy......its a great fight.

Fenech vs. Nelson 1 - Great action fight with a few rounds straight where they stand in the corner and just trade, no movement or holding, just trading bombs. Rip off decision though.

Any Morales fight......that guy IS boxing at its best. Great mix of skill, will, toughness, entertainment, athleticism.

Paul Briggs vs. Adamek 1 - This fight is getting mentioned less and less, but it was an all out war at light heavyweight. You see adameks face get mashed, the rankest slo mo replay of a cut happening then flowing, some top oooo aaarrr moments when they trade, and just great action throughout. The hard punching slugger vs. the consistant boxer (with great combinations in this fight). Awesome.

Not too far behind it would be fights like Archie Moore-Yvon Durelle I, Matthew Saad Muhammad-Yaqui Lopez II, Bobby Chacon-Bazooka Limon IV, Michael Carbajal-Humberto Gonzalez I, Erik Morales-Marco Antonio Barrera I, Muhammad Ali-Joe Frazier III.

Hagler-Hearns

 

Kevin Kelly and I believe it was Gonzalez?. By the end, Kelly was brawling and the Mexican fighter was putting on a Boxing clinic, completely opposite of the first ten rounds.

Corrales Castillo 1 was epic as well.

Made me cry like a baby.

Blood, guts, skill and a twist at the end.

The most dramatic fight I've ever seen: Corrales vs Castillo


It's hard to choose theres been so many, But at least out of the recent fights from the past couple decades.
