I'm sure he will but I'm confident that Guzman could stink and flurry his way to a decision over 10 or 12.

Lora will likely think Hernandez was better, which may be a fair assessment....

Fair. Arguello took a fair few rounds to catch up with a very respectful and disciplined Chacon.

Whitaker. At Lightweight I'd say his 3 biggest tests would be:

    Armstrong
    Duran
    Napoles

He's capable of winning or losing any of the 3.

    Tyson

    Lennox
    Holyfield
    Ali

I think he can beat them if any fight poor gameplans or aren't 100% though

Middleweight, since he obviously doesn't have much competition at 168.

How do you see the Chavez/Sanchez fights? I think Arguello could time Canzi, Guzman I rate very high H2H

Kid Chocolate-Arguello is another tricky style for Arguello

I think he'd have a better time with Chocolate than Cazoneri.

Canzoneri would be much harder for Alexis to gauge IMO. Also, his chin is much more reliable than the Cuban's. Arguello isn't doing **** to Canzoneri? Who stood up to a beating from McLarnin and was only stopped once, by murderous hitter Al 'Bummy' Davis when well past his best.

I don't rate Guzman highly at all, he was shorthand for the kinda' problems a below 'Elite' level stylist could pose Alexis. Quite a few guys you could slot into his place.

The first two are pretty much locks to beat him IMO. Armstrong as well, but Arguello is better with someone coming right at him at least, so I went for those that would pose stylistic problems to Arguello, rather than those I think could outwork him, as that's a dangerous game.

Canzoneri would take his lumps, but his movement and awkward points of attack would give Arguello a JLRx10 problem IMO.

Ok, I think stylistically these are trickiest although not sure he'd lose any of them:

Nunn - southpaw, height/reach advantages, tricky power. The most rounds taken off Jones around his prime are by the likes of Harding/Tarver, rangy fast southpaws

Kalambay - 1 of the best defenses and jabs, alongside quick hands that could pick apart some of Jones technically weaknesses on the back foot. Jones would be forced to pressure Kalambay, giving Kalambay countering opportunities

Leonard - 1 of Jones hero's, comparative speed and maybe straighter punches. Leonard says Jones said Ray would beat him, but that could be paying respect to a hero

Robinson - again comparable speed, excellent jab, great chin and power.

Greb - just as a wild card, maybe just maybe he's a great technician so could time with his jab and outwork a drained Jones. Although he supposedly did have trouble with speedsters in his day. One of his losses being put down to not having his usual speed advantage

    I know that's 5, I think stylistically he beats Hagler/Monzon clearly.
