    Segura throws a big right and Calderon ducks beneath it. Segura throwing big power shots overhand with the left and right. Right jabs by Segura. Calderon is backing up and blocking, throwing a few left hooks when Segura closes in on him with his long-legged strides. Calderon sticking and moving with the left jab and getting walked to the ropes. Calderon holds. Segura keeps drilling the right jab to the body. Slapping left hand cuffs Calderon and he goes down, ruled a slip. It was kind of a push/knockdown/slip. Segura keeps jabbing forward, bringing it up from the body to Calderon's face now. Calderon is running as long as he can and then stepping in to hold. Segura leading with wild right uppercuts. Segura chases and eats a left jab. Another one, in the face. Segura throws a borderline low body shot and is warned. They lean in and trade body shots, with Calderon also going low.

    Segura did some nice work in that round. Very close round, but I'm giving it to Calderon.

    Phew, I dozed off for a whie and just woke up as the opening bell rang.

    Segura comes forward with those right upper-hooks. Calderon is making sure to steer clear as Segura is swinging with big power. Calderon is jabbing while backing up and then throwing short right hands as they lean together up close when Segura catches him. It's Calderon's fast backpedaling matched up against the big long strides of Segura. Right uppercuts are really coming in regularly from Segura. Body shots now. Segura is coming forward throwing with good variety. Segura warned for billy-goating. Calderon keeps backing up and pumping the jab. Segura hunches his shoulders up and crouches in, muscling his way in underneath Calderon's jab and hitting the body with his left. Segura is hitting low quite a lot by accident. Segura switches to orthodox and lands a stiff left jab. Calderon hooks as Segura ducks, elbowing the back of his neck.
