Lacierva uses a lazy jab to set up a pair of hard crosses to the body. Beltran circles cautiously. Lacierva switches southpaw and then back again. Beltran reaches in with a left hook to the temple and then misses a right. Both stand in fairly close together but not a lot of leather being thrown (or connecting). Cautious, tactical pace. Beltran double jabs and digs a left cross to the gut. Lacierva turns to his right, tilting his head away from a jab but gets hit when Beltran doubles it. Double right jab, and left uppercut to the face by Beltran. Lacierva is holding up a high guard in the orthodox stance, waiting for Beltran to stop moving and then pouncing with a flurry. Nice left hook to the body thrown by Lacierva, putting his back into it but not quite scoring.

Beltran is jabbing to the body and bringing a few left crosses over. Lacierva is trying to line up that southpaw killer but can't find Beltran in his sights. Lacierva again turns southpaw himself. atsch Back again. Beltran digs a 1-2 to the body and Lacierva shoeshines back to the same area. NASTY pair of lefts by Beltran, to the ribs and then the face. Beltran comes forward flicking his right jab and collapses into Lacierva against the ropes. 1-1-2 to the chest by Beltran. Lacierva throws a wide right hand around the side, slamming into Beltran's shoulder. Lacierva is holding his left stick out, while Beltran paws with his right. Just before the bell Lacierva shuffles his feet and dances into a southpaw stance one more time.
