yes they were, and for the first 4 rounds they never saw a punch landed by Segura, I almost mute d tv it was so bias, by I decided against it by the way the fight was going, I was pretty sure Calderon will not last past the 8th round, and I was curious to heard what d commentators have to say.

:rofl:nut:patsch:huh:scaredas::dead <--- To everyone saying he quit.

After watching the first two rounds, I had a feeling of; "****, he's only throwing Haymakers." You know what he made me think of??? Rocky Balboa. Not too fast, coming straight forward with only a few faints, takes bombs coming in and starts to work on your body like a frozen piece of meat.

Notice at the end of round 4 he is smilling at Calderon as if to say; "I can go all night long buddy".

Calderon had his Spirit broken after that onslaught in the 4th. You will notice he is not coming forward and throws almost nithing.

Broken Spirit a la Rocky 2.

Round 5 was a clear knock down. That was a b.s no call.

Commentators really made the fight even that more exciting even though
i only understood some words. Great job.

Yeah, this 'quit' talk is getting ridiculous. Calderon didn't quit, he was chopped down, beaten up and badly hurt to the body just like Cotto vs. Margarito or I could bring up Ortiz vs. Maidana, they all went down due to accumulation of hard power punches. They were ready to go, all that was missing is a career-changing knockout and a stretcher, not using all their remaining energy just to get up for that is not quitting in my book.

Nate Campbell quit at the first opportunity once he realized things could get ugly. Calderon was beaten to an ugly pulp when he remained on his knees. There's a big ****ing difference.

No need to trash Calderon for finally losing about his 20th title defense at age 35. He will be remembered as a better champion than this cat that just beat him. He proved in the fight that he was a much more skilled boxer. He simply doesn't have any power. Because of that he has always relied on his legs because his fists never could keep guys off of him. Combine that with the fact that he's now 35 and his legs just couldn't do it anymore. Props to Giovani, he took some shots and kept on coming. But we should celebrate the end of a great championship run rather than trash the guy for finally losing. That's a bad habit and a big problem with most boxing fans. Mostly, IMO, because they're all johnny come latelys. It's no accident that most the people trashing him have less than 50 posts.
