Anyone know anything about him? For all his dozens of losses he was only stopped a handful of times. Has some good wins on his record as well, including one over Schmeling. Anything?
He won the European light heavyweight championship. Sort of the Henry Cooper of his era. He somtimes wore large ear rings into the fight and made a big play on his gypsie heritage.
