The guy in the second video didn't even attempt to strike with the lady and let her hit him in the face, and he didn't even flinch. He could have pounded that ass if he wanted.

This is an excuse. If he could, believe me he would have.

Yeah right, they should be ashamed of themselves.... mainly for losing the fight tho rather than getting in there.

Not all that surprising. It all depends on both fighters' skill level. Check the series Fight Quest, the BJJ episode. Doug, who is a former US soldier and also a fighter, got quickly choked out by a girl in a Jiu Jitsu match.

Found it..go to about 7:40 in the video for Doug Anderson being choked out by a female Brazilian Jiu Jitsu champion

    This content is protected

Also, go to about 16:10 in the video to watch him get choked out by an awesome crucifix choke

That Doug guy was a total *****. He was bigger than the girl but she easily best him; it wasn't even competitive. She was throwing him around like...he needs to have his balls removed.

That isn't because Doug is a "total *****". Unless you've trained in BJJ and have rolled with skilled people, you don't realize how tough it is to do it. There are some much smaller guys in my class that I roll with who I'm MUCH bigger and stronger than, but I can't use my strength on them because they are all over me using leverage and my strength against me. It always seems like no big deal to the casual observer, until you get in there and are like, "WTF?!?!".

He didn't even make it competitive and he was the bigger person there. He even had the nerves to say that he was going very hard at her but just couldn't get it done; at least some guys will lie that they were being easy on her. For a guy who is a US Army soldier and a trained fighter, he sure embarassed himself. It was like the girl was telling him that she is the one with a dick and balls between her legs.

Like I said, being the bigger, stronger, meaner guy just doesn't matter if you are not trained in Jiu-Jitsu and are going up against a skilled practitioner. She was very skilled, and he wasn't.

Do yourself a favor and go to your local BJJ gym and get a lesson. You'll get the chance to do a little training, and to roll with people there. It's pretty eye-opening when a smaller, weaker guy destroys you - despite your strength or preconceived notions about it.

A few of my co-workers and myself went one day with another co-worker who had been training for a while, to see what it was like. We were just blown away and couldn't believe how different it was to actually do it then it appeared on TV. All of us were submitted multiple times within the 5 minute rollling sessions. There was simply nothing we could do. It was based on that that I decided to go back and train regularly (twice a week).

When I watched that video, it looks like standard stuff and there's nothing that leads me to believe that he was a wuss, or was holding back, or anything like that. It was simply yet another skilled practitioner against a non-grappler, and the non-grappler gets beaten very easily - just like always happens.
