I for one am excited for the guy. He's had a tough career. Cano was talking pretty confident going into this fight. I didn't believe him. Cano let me down in the past. Cano completely blitzed Linarse. How on Earth did Cano have Zero respect for JL's power? Does this line Cano up to a big fight? Should Linarse stay at 140?
It effects no one's stock. Styles make fights, like I said last night, Cano's just a terrible style matchup, not to mention looked like a Mack truck in there, Linares is clearly too small for 140. Does Lipinets arguably losing/drawing to/with Erick Bone in his next fight effect Mikey's stock?

He is bigger, but Cano fought at Welterweight quite often and is more naturally suited for 147, so yeah, Linares was too big for Loma.... but Cano was too big for Linares. Kind of like how Broner was a killing machine at 135 and was just meh at 140. Weird things can happen on that short little 5 pound trip.

Cano lost to Morales & Angulo on cuts. The Mosley match was arguably a draw, could have gone either way. Should have beaten Malignaggi and was robbed. Beat the **** out of Mauricio Herrera. He legit lost to Maldonando and Sanchez. Marcellino Lopez was a stylistic nightmare for Cano, which is why I picked him to beat Cano by KO, Lopez should also have a win over Sanchez who he was robbed against.
