Lately, it seems, people and Arreola himself are offering these disguised excuses for his losing and poor performances...."oh it was my training camp...", "oh it was the head butts" "oh it was my bicep", "oh it was my thumb".......quite pathetic from a guy who's seen as a straight talker.

Chris Arreola is an under achiever not an over achiever. Its a no brainer, as its obvious he would have had much better results had he been able to control how much he ate.

hes not very good at all. For him to get a WBC Title shot speaks volumes about the division

I'm just tired of his nonsense about how he's gonna dedicate himself and get in shape. It's tiring just like when Toney said it for years.

If he can dedicate himself to training like he does with Mexican food, he would be something.

The simple truth is most boxing fans WANT to root for Arreola. He could be a great story but he simply refuses to get into shape and it hurts his performance in the ring. He consistently shows that he doesn't care enough about his craft. He's lazy. He could be GREAT, instead he is average and its his own fault. If he got into shape, I think he easily beats Haye and could possibly give the brothers a run for their money. Instead he enjoys to much food and drink and will be a forgotten man in another few years.

Arreola is a true fighter, but not much of an athlete. Not as far as athletic abilities go, but not in terms of work ethics either.

Out of shape. Above average talent. He could accomplish more if he stop making excuses about 'weakness for food'. WTF!

He should fire the other fat dude that in his entourage that enable his 'weakness for food' BS.

Then actually take his training with more sincerity.

Until, I won't bother watching his crappy fights.

He is just a B level fighter who beat a C level fighter last night. He has to wait to see if the brothers retire, but by then he will by done himself. Didn't he break his hand with Adamek? If so, he is done. Not to healthy to be breaking your hands at HW. He fights everybody and loses to the elite or A level fighters. He really needs to lose some weight and also start placing those damn punches correctly so that he stops breaking his hands.
