Give credit to Haye, it was Wlad who pulled out of the fight; Haye wanted to postpone

Peter had much more of a right to quit than Vitali.

Peter couldn't win, no matter how much he tried. He had no shot of knocking Vitali out and he was getting tagged by punches by a hard hitting heavyweight.

Vitali on the other hand, could've just danced and used his other arm for 3 rounds against a light punching former middleweight in Chris Byrd, and instead he decided to quit like a dog.

Vitali is a quitter, plain and simple.

:lol:Peter had more of a right to quit because he could win?

But Vitali with a torn rotator cuff it's not okay?

You know how much pain he was in? A LOT and he fought for 8 rounds with it.

Jesus christ you stupid ****ing tranny, just stop posting. You're ignorance on boxing is insulting to the rest of the board.

just like other sports right? if an athlete is injured, keep playing. if you're team is losing by a ton of points, just quit. makes a lot of sense.

He fought for 8 rounds with a torn rotator cuff? Amazing that he was still ahead on the cards then when he chose to take the ***** route, considering he's so tough according to the Klit-ites.

Now compare that to Ali who fought for 10 rounds with a broken jaw against Norton.

I suspect that the truth is VITLAY tore his rotator cuff in the later rounds of the Byrd fight, no way did he go 8 rounds with that. Even if he did there was no reason to quit, none whatsoever.

Eh...With a rotator cuff injury, its iffy. Vits a doctor, he knows what COULD have happened. He aired on the side of caution, I cant hate on that.

So Vitali tears up his shoulder ans stops due to injury and you call him a quitter, yet Haye pulls out of the biggest fight in years with a back injury from SHADOW BOXING and he is NOT a quitter (according to you):huh

He's a doctor of what, exactly?

Also several fighters have fought on with worse injuries than VITLAY had that night, and some of them were down on the cards. I believe Holyfield had the exact same injury in one of his fights yet he fought the full 12 rounds. Holyfield wasn't a ***** though, obviously.

You know better than to believe that Chef, everyone knows Haye pulled out because he wasn't going to get paid, win or lose.

I suspect either of the Klits would have done the same and I wouldn't have criticised them for it. I expect better of you than that kind of idiotic remark.

Sports Medicine, I think it was. So, yeah, he knows.

And yeah, Holyfield toughed it out. Vitali didn't. But Vitali is alot smarter and alot more of a thinker than Evander. I broke my ribs in a match and withdrew. I could rationalize that it wasnt worth my career to permanent injury.

Sometimes, its living to fight another day, not being a *****.

Sure, but that is not the mentality of warriors like Frazier, Marciano, and Holyfield. Call him smart then, but you can't call him both.

Why are trannys (swann) even allow to post in esb forum? Anyway why is dumb people that hate Vitali still bringing up Vitali quitting against Bryd? For god sake that fight was 10 YEARS AGO!!!! <<<<<That was the last time Vitali quit in a fight. After that fight Vitali fought big punchers in Lewis, Johnson, Sanders, Williams, Peter and yet none of those guys make Vitali quit. Prior to the Lewis fight Vitali admit he made a mistake by quitting vs Bryd even though that was a career threatining injury for a rotator cuff shoulder. But again Vitali admit he made a mistake and prove he can fight with a bad injury like the one in the Lewis fight. Whoever said Vitali quit vs Lewis should never be allow to post in esb forum again.
