Got dropped 3 times in the first round

He could have easily spit out his gumshield and quit but he didnt

He bit down on his gumshield, overcame adversity and knocked his opponent out

No. He got a gift. He won’t get a better gift than that for Christmas. 6 seconds left in round 1 and they call it. He was on his way to being ko’d

He did do well to come back from what was a nightmare of a round 1 but he was lucky he had such a passive Lerena in front of him who seemed to not know how to press his advantage. Can you imagine him in with Wilder or Joshua, Christ Chisora might do him if he can hurt him early.

Yeah I agree. Its not Dubois fault that referee wawed it off so quickly. Dubois has power and is 1 dimensional, but his power will win fights. Probably loses to Usyk, Ruiz, Fury and Wilder, but against other heavyweights he does have a chance.

You're right. Even if it was a fixed fight he easily could've quit after he got dropped for the 3rd time. But he didn't. Joshua spit his gumshield out and gave up against a teletubby in embarrasing fashion. He's the textbook example of a quitter with 0 heart, not Dubois

i dont like Dubois, and i think he's a talentless muscle man, but if something can be taken from this, at least he came through the adversity.

Fact 1 - Howard Foster loves an early stoppage.
Fact 2 - The bell was early in round one.
Fact 3 - Any top 10 heavyweight beats Dubois.
Fact 4 - If he dropped his shorts now, “Fletch” would blow him off.

He got dropped once and took two kness didnt he? He gets credit for playin ot smart and blasting a decent contender out of there. O think he's a nice kid and a victim of undue critism..I think he's not a ducker nor self aggrandising, like others. I don't however like this help with early bells and early stoppages though, and I'll only wish pain on someone who is getting an advantage.

Watching that puny cruiserweight make Daniels legs go wobbly, and dropping him down 3 times was quite amusing to watch while I was munching on the Doritos last night. They were flash knock downs and half grazing shots. Dubois did well to weather the storm, and the stoppage at the end, although a little bit premature, was quite a heavy barrage of punches. There was issue with speed that Dubois, wasn't use to dealing with. Back to beer belly behemoths in his next fight.

    Nah

    The momentum shifted by then.

Dubois hurt him opponent more than his opponent hurt him.

Once Dubois stabilised his legs and knew which punch to throw it was only a matter of time.

    His opponent blew his opportunity.

Dubois almost choked on the pit of this cherry picked opponent , I saw only one knock down and two intentional dives to avoid being hit. I might have stopped it after his second swan dive since he was showing he didn't want to fight.

I don't think it was a terrible performance from Dubois. Got dropped legitimately once, clearly injured his leg which resulted in him taking a knee twice. Fought through the injury and got the stoppage.

People acting like he got legitimately dropped three times are morons.
