Give Floyd Credit if He Beats Sergio at 150?

Sergio is only small when A) He wants to chase welterweights around. B) When he wants to avoid getting smashed by Andre Ward. Other than that he's the middleweight champ of the world..

In no universe is Martinez better than Shane Mosley. Nobody even knew who this clown was 5 years ago, now all of a sudden because of a 3 year run he's better than Mosley? GTFO with that crazy talk. They should fight at 154 if they are going to fight. People will discredit Floyd otherwise. Neither of them is a natural 154lber so there problem solve.

 

I wouldn't give him any credit for a win at 150 pretty much like Pac-Concreto means nothing as well. Dawson-Ward is a move Dawson made, Ward didn't want this fight as much as Dawson did yet Ward gave him the shot. I would blame Dawson there more than I would Ward.

 

Martinez fought the best out there, he knocked Williams out, he defeated Pavlik and Chavez Jr. Convincingly.. How is that not being made to come down to 150? In order to make the fight happen, he's being left with no choice but to come down that far.

What a ****ing terrible example. You've seen the weight '150' and somehow equated the two cases to be the same? In case you hadn't noticed, Marg wasn't a middleweight. He was meeting Pac -- who had never fought above 147 -- in the middle. Akin to what Martinez would be doing in meeting Floyd at 154.

So no matter what how hard you try, you raging *****, there's absolutely no way you can justify it being at 150. Not that you have to, anyway. So relax. Put your ***** shield and sword down. The fight will never happen there (or anywhere else).

 

I'd give Floyd credit at 154.

 

If Sergio can still make 154, then let him fight Floyd who has already experienced fighting there twice.. There's nothing wrong with that.. It's like if Ward can still make 160, then let him fight Martinez.. Like if Cotto and Canelo can still make 147, then let them fight Manny.. :deal

What's wrong with your logic is, pushing Sergio to fight Ward @168.. atsch So he's about to go up facing the top SMW today.. :shock: Its like let Floyd fight @160 and face Martinez.. :deal

 

some of u guys on here are assholes. U won't give mayweather credit but will give manny for fighting oscar and cotto at catchweights.

 

People will always have a unreachable expectation when it comes to Floyd.

While i don't think the fight should be at 150 but at 154 Floyd should get full credit. Sergio is not a big Middleweight and Floyd is not a big WW. Floyd have no power or speed at 154 and ineffective so balance out of Sergio having to move down from 160.

 

Surely you can see the ****ing difference between them?

 

If i am FLoyd i would rather fight Pac than Martinez. More money and easier fight.
