A lot of boxing fans really under-appriciate him. Ive always admired Hopkins and to me he is a not only a living legend of boxing but a "still fighting legend of boxing"

I give hopkins credit, not as much as some, a little more than others. But either way you look at it, he deserves respect for the way he keeps himself in shape, competetive in fights etc etc and all at an advanced age

People underestimate Hopkins because he beats people with his mind. It's easier to measure hand speed or size, etc. But it's harder to measure the more intelligent and savvy fighter. That's how Hopkins beats you and that's why he is regularly underrated.

When you're generally rated as the best in the world it becomes a bit more tricky to get into fights that people think you will lose....

Was Hopkins REALLY the underdog against Wright, Taylor or Tarver?

Other than your occasional "Youth will prevail over Hopkins" poster, I think he's rated quite fairly.

Hopkins was a 4-1 underdog agasinst Tito. A 3-1 underdog against Tarver. And Winky was favored. I don't know the lines for either JT fights though.

Um....honestly, it goes by Vegas odds...who is the betting favorite? The money guides that favorite/underdog deal.

Who was the betting favorite in Hopkins vs. Wright, Taylor, or Tarver?
