I wouldn't want to see the fight as either Joe goes out on a low not or Froch puts his career back a good bit which at his age he can't really afford.

If he goes and beats the top Supper Middles out there he'll secure a great legacy anyway.

I agree he's strangely quiet about Kessler, but I doubt Kessler would present a harder challenge to Froch than Calzaghe though.

Also, Froch has just done in the States what Kessler is supposed to be doing.:yep

Can't really blame Froch for keeping on at Calzaghe with HBO on board for any fight Calzaghe would be willing to take. As Mr Bunce says it's about 'cash common sense' and from Froch's point of view even if Calzaghe were to annihilate him he gets more cash from a Calzaghe fight than all of the other potential fights put together. Weigh that against earning far less against somebody as dangerous as a Kessler and you can see why he's got Calzaghe on the brain

Froch said on the boxing hour after the Pascal fight he was gonna leave Calzaghe alone because he only wanted the WBC belt, so why call him out now?

I just found it funny how that Showtime mug directly asked him about Kessler and somebody else who I forgot and he started talking about Calzaghe and Pavlik, the big money fights.

Maybe they know there is little chance of Mikkel getting one of these fights at the moment, but I can't believe he'd be thinking with such clarity after the fight. The truth is he does not want to be anywhere near Viking Warrior as he will be destroyed.

I think Froch will be a much better fighter after this fight. I was impressed by him in the late rounds.

    I completely agree :deal

Frochs performance against Taylor on saturday is a better win than anyone on Calzaghes CV

Froch should have learnt about his defence after Pascal was knocking him about with every right hand he threw. Froch's low hands are a lazy stylistic quirk that's fine against bad, domestic fighters but against top level talents he will get blasted. Bute would demolish him.

    Yeah, nice try...

Eubank was better than Taylor, even at that stage. I view Joe's Hopkins win as better than Taylor's too.

Do you know the latest with Kessler?

Is he likely to get out of this promotion wrangle and fight anytime soon?

I'm with Froch on this one, Calzaghe needs to get out of his arm chair and fight this guy.
Froch has done his part he's won the WBC Title in one of the best fights of 2008 and now he's gone into the lions den and beaten Taylor in another great fight!
Calzaghe won't be able to shout about Froch not being **** anymore and there's plenty of time for a Kessler fight down the road, the Calzaghe fight should be next.
