Give Margarito all the credit in the world, he took some great shots!!!

    I hope they have a rematch in 2009, I feel this loss does great things for Cotto. Cotto was way too cocky in this fight, he was way too confident and thought he would box his way to victory. Did you see the first round, when Cotto got him with a right hand he flicked it back, he was extremely confident.

    Margarito is a relentless fighter, I give him all the credit in the WORLD. I think Cotto would win the rematch, we will have a trilogy folks...

    This is what Margarito handled on July 26th..... Wow... I give him all the credit in the world. Only showing this because people seem to forget all that Cotto did in the fight, they only show the 11th round. I dont think Cotto's Chin is the problem, he didnt get KO'd.... I think he simply underestimated this beast and called it a day.

    Yea, he does deserve massive credit. He took some unbelievable shots for 11 rounds and not once did he seem startled. What a chin.

    those shots would have been meaningful had Cotto been planted and following through looking to do damage, but they were while movimg and looks better than it actually is. There is not much mustard on those shots.
    Cotto fought the wrong fight.

    I agree... he had to fight on the inside of Margarito's punches and in the center of the ring. However he didnt and thats not Margarito's fault... all credit to Margarito.. Cotto will be back.

    Yeah, those shots sure looked like they had no snap on them. Haha! I wish Cotto would've put some leverage in those shots because he was basically slapping Margarito. You know when you fight a taller guy on the inside the taller, lankier guy has more leverage on his punches.:lol:

    Chin is great, I hope he uses his height when he throws his punches. He would be a better fighter.
