He'd KO Pac, that's for sure. But the other guys, he'd have an extremely tough time with.

 

porter is just an athlete without skill mayweather would punish him - too hittable. paulie is a pretender at welterweight, paulie has been carefully matched after khan destroyed him.

Pacquiao is the most delicate fighter at welterweight, aside from Amir Khan.

If Bradley can rock Pacquiao, Porter would beat down Pacquiao like a boy in the streets.

I agree , he fought Paulie for god sake not fooking Mike Tyson.

 

He failed to KO a washed up Julio Diaz twice, not too long ago Paulie was getting manhandled by Cano also and now because Porter beats fists of feather all of a sudden he's Aaron Pryor.

 

People were overrating Paulie but regardless it was a good win

Its boxers and movers that are a nightmare for Pacquiao.

 

Porter's heading in the right direction for sure, but he's still more Huck than Hawk. I need to see him continue that growth and take on a durable contender or two before I start putting him in the conversation with the top dogs.

As of now, it's still too early put him up there with Floyd or Pac. I do think matching him up with Thurman, Bradley, or Marquez would be optimal. I know he's with Haymon, but he's technically not promoted by Golden Boy....yet.
