Wilder came in under 225 for Sitverne, both Ortiz fights, the first Fury fight and Breazeale. He probably shouldn't count if we're doing a 225 cutoff since he seemed most comfortable below that.

He is an awesome pick, but he is only 6' 4" So not quite the super tall and heavy. If we do that we could add in several others , like Corrie Sanders , Frank Bruno..etc
What I have noticed, is the mythical super tall- heavies are very few in number. My original intent for the list was to see how Tyson or Frazier would do with them. The 6'5" 225 + guys are really rare.

I guess the idea of a Super Heavy division is pretty recent. I suppose that would be a weight class of 225 + , so yeah, Buster is in there in that case.

Perhaps making that an actual division of its own is a time that as come. Has anyone tried to make a thread on it?

I would nominate big George as probably the Number 1 ( he was 260+ lbs some fights)

Wilder makes it for height, not weight. Same for Cooney.

Wilder has such an odd build. That big powerful upper body, paired with sticks for legs.

Maginot and Bronze Tiger like this.
