Pac Horn was especially bad. I remember Pac laughing during the press conference before the fight, and texting on his phone not paying attention. He obviously didn't take Jeff Horn seriously at all.

Another one would be Mayweather Maidana I. I know Mayweather won, but barely. I personally thought it was a Draw. The reason i call it a cherrypick is because Mayweather had a poll on his Facebook page where his fans could vote to pick his opponent, between Khan and Maidana. Khan received more votes but Mayweather fought Maidana instead. Maidana turned out to be a far tougher fight than he expected.

David Price Vs Tony Thompson I

Thompson was 41 years old, coming off his second defeat to Wladimir Klitschko and a lot of people thought it was just all about Price doing a better job on Thompson than Klitschko.

I don't think many gave Thompson the slightest chance.

Anyway, a scuff/punch around the ear hole and Prices career took a turn it never really recovered from.

Looks like we had the same thoughts but I remember all of this vividly.. not to mention the second fight they thought they were punishing JMM by making the weight 147

Juan "El Pollo" Valenzuela W Ricardo Williams

Valenzuela was handpicked 2 weeks before the fight, as he took that fight on that 2 weeks' notice and Williams & his fans thought Williams would win in Williams' own Cincinnati hometown, but were proven wrong by the tough Mexican fighter.

Humberto Soto beats Rocky Juarez, on 2 weeks notice.

Soto was called in 2 weeks before the fight and Juarez thought he could beat Soto, but Soto was too much for Juarez.

Khan won that poll by whoring himself out on Twitter. Maidana earned that fight by beating Broner, who was borderline pfp at the time.

Livingstone Bramble losing against Edwin Rosario was seen as a major surprise at the time.
