Its a hard one to pick that's for sure.

I'm a fan of both fighters but like Pac man a bit more.

On the day I wonder how the stoppage loss to Marg will play on Cottos mind......and in the light of Pac's power of late I think Cotto might have a defensive game plan coming into this fight.

The reason why its a hard one to pick is Cotto may think he's got more power and will be the bigger man....stats may agree so he may come out more aggressive.

I think Cotto has more chance boxing than fighting

In the end I just love Pac as a power counter puncher with huge power in both hands.....Hatton didn't know what hand to look for as he got stung with a few power right's from Pac before the KO from the left hook.

    Flip a coin mate :yep

All I know is I will be watching this fight and will enjoy the day and no matter who wins I will be happy.

    That said.......go Pac Man :good

As long as both sides have Pacman on it, I'd flip a coin too.

I really feel that of late Cotto gets stung and hit too much especially to the head, and we know he gets hurt. If Cotto lets Pacquiao get comfy it will be too late.

Cotto too win needs to be aggresive from the bell and not stop. But if he goes through a the first few rounds and lets Pacman get confident it will be too late.

Plus for me Pacman speed is a huge factor. Alot of people have been talking about Pac's new found power but i think that Cotto as far as i can remember as only faced Zab Judah with the likes of the same speed.

And we know for sure Judah isnt exactly Pacquiao is he. If Judah rocked Cotto twice imagine what Pac will do being quicker and fighting with better angles with a 1000% better mental fortitude than Zab.

I like Cotto too but we saw flaws especially of late in Cotto that worry me. I feel his killer insticnt is gone but i dont question his heart.

Were as i have not seen Pacman lose a round since fighting JMM which was March 2008.

So i ask myself and you guys the same questions.

    Whats Cotto's mental state like
    Whats Cotto's defense been like
Has Cotto's chin got any better
Is Cotto the same fighter that we saw against Shane Mosley

    Pacquiaos got flaws aswell.

Will Pac be able to handle Cotto's body shots
Will Pacquiao's gameplan be like it was for a bigger Dela Hoya
Is Pacman going to have a off night
Has Pac got the power to worry Cotto

All these different questions keep popping into my mind, but all i can see is Pacman's speed being a nightmare. It was the case for everyone except JMM. But even then Marquez went down for times in 2 fights.

Looking forward to this fight. Both prime figthers who don't duck anyone. I'm thinking Cotto will box early & work the body over. I expect Pac to come out no different than he always does, punches in volume from all angles. Cotto has to box early to take some sting out of Pac's punches & slow him down similar to what Morales did in their 1st fight. I remember Mosley stating afterwards that Cotto sneakly boxed him at times when he thought he stand & trade. This is the key I believe. If Cotto can stick to a similar gameplan than I can see him winning a close decision over the Pacman & thats the way I'm going. Styles make fights & this should be a *******.

Nice, hey Pecks i really feel Cotto showed some signs of he wasnt himself.

I mean slow predictable Clottey was a close fight, I mean Cotto won but for me my scores cards were 115-112. Hardly a ass whooping.

I went for Pacquiao and by stoppage. The angles, the speed and his overall mental strength.

Were cotto i feel has heart and great body work but he has to catch up with Pacquiao to get to his body.

It should be a good exciting fight. Cotto's heart will make it exciting to watch.

I still rate Cotto somewhat, but feel that he's up against it with Pac.

18 months ago I would have gone with Cotto on this one.

Yeah good call. He was smart and calculated against Mosley. Probably for me his best perfomance but after he lost i feel he hasnt been the same. That was evident against Clottey who i dont rate very well.

Some like Cottey but he is way to slow uses his head more than his feet or fists.

I'm not picking until I see the weigh in. How they both size up before the fight and what it's like when they stand next to each other.

Pac is a better fighter all round - but is he big and strong enough to beat Cotto? Was Hatton too small for him? Was Oscar too over the hill? Or was Pac just THAT bas ass?

I'm probably going to go with Pac though. Cotto tried walking through Marg's slow punches for too many rounds and got hurt doing it - will he be able to dodge Pac's speed?? I don't think so... but will wait to decide.

    - pac too fast

    - cotto's best may be behind him. looked slower against clottey

    - cotto has a lot of scar tissue. if he gets cut and back moves and circles like he normally does when hurt or cut...pac will murder him.

    - cotto is the biggest puncher pac has faced. although not 147, he'l be close enough to a true welter. pac hasn't faced one before. delahoya was a skeleton.

    - for that reason, cotto is a chance.

    - pac is the safest bet imo.

    - PAC TKO 9. Cuts.
