To think I used to have sympathy for this fool.

I wonder how many boxing fans actually believe Wilder’s BS about wanting to fight like he keeps telling over and over again


He talks as if he is actively pursuing Joshua, but anyone of any knowledge of business sense or boxing fighters popularity And PPV/ticket sales knows they’re NO way that world anyone would give this clown 50 percent when he would sell about 1/5 of the tickets

he’s pricing himself out to intentionally avoid the fight. I wonder how many boxing fans realize what he doing. I bet even his management laugh when they hear him run his mouth knowing how unknown his name is as compared to Joshua

I think most fans on boxing sites like this one are astute enough to realize what he’s doing, but general boxing fans probably think he’s really confident he can beat anyone and is actively trying to collect all the belts

To say he would sell 1/5 of the tickets is even ambitious and being overly generous to deontay welfare

 

Wilder doesn't do much of a job selling himself as the 'bad-ass heavyweight champ knockout machine' to the american public which could translate into the status/respect he craves, not to mention the eight figure purses.

He should do himself a favour and stop all the whooping and hollering and screaming that BOMBZQUAD! silliness, overusing his cringe-inducing go-to phrases like "I will baptise you", behaving (and dressing) like a teenage rapper and posing on social media and trying to sound 'deep' . If Deontay had any sense he would take a leaf out of Jermall Charlo's book and be a mean and moody arsehole Think of angry young Foreman, or Tyson, or Liston, or Hughie Fury, ok not the last one but you get the picture. Wilder's right hand itself is scary but Wilder himself is a big goofy clown = not scary.

Also, how can a black american boxer complain about the his opportunities being hindered by his skin tone with a straight face after the example Mayweather has set. Floyd isn't a heavyweight, nor was he a KO machine, actually he was boring, a purists fighter for hardcore anoraks to drool over but to casual fans he was boring. Despite this he retired a gazillionare last year. Wilder has to take responsibility for his career choices. From the sounds of things his journey in boxing so far has been relatively plain sailing, instead of whining entitlement Wilder should be thanking his lucky stars he was naturally talented enough to waltz into the sport, olympics and earn millions before he has even been properly tested.

These guys weren't champions however so it really doesn't matter.

Wilder is not well known BC his management is terrible and it reflects by looking at his resume.

The thought of this guy becoming the face of boxing should he defeat Joshua is scary all around the board BC he could single handily dumb this sport down to a new level for multiple reasons.....
