I am aware that I will probably get a lot of suggestions that I already intend to include on my upcoming Best Fights of the 30s list, but I figured it was worth a try. However, if you give a suggestion, make sure it's something with a substantial amount of it on film.

Off the top of my head Lost Horizon, it's a pretty cool sci fi type flick.

I've always enjoyed Alfred Hitchcock, although I've seen some of his movies from that era and was not all that impressed, his stuff from 40,s and 50s was much better

And I've never seen the original scarface, but I'm sure it's a good one

Louis against Schmeling 1936. Best most exciting bout of the decade.

IF you can find that Aussie link, that I occasionally refer too, for whatever reason, they had loads of late 30s footage that was 'Proper' and the fighters look no different from fighters today. the movement, the punches, the whole business is perfectly normal, so it proves the worth of these greats who did this every month!

Ron Richards, Archie Moore, Fred Henneberry, Amrose Palmer and others...
