    Ricardo Lopez:

    The most technically sound boxer ever (IMO), the closest I've ever seen to a perfect fighter in the ring. He was a two weight world champion (105/108) winning the WBC/WBA/WBO strawweight belts and defending a record 23 times. Retired at the age of 35 with an outstanding record of 51-0-1 (38KO's), becoming one of the few champions to retire undefeated. Unfortunately he was given little credit throughout his career due to his size and weak weight division.

    Now in retirement, he is a avid salsa music fan who is known to give autographs to whomever may ask.

    There is a story that Liston, by now the champion and in preperation for his world title defence against Patterson, was pulled over by a state trooper and asked to step out of the vehicle. According to the Louis Liston just stared straight ahead out of the windshield, refusing to step out of the vehicle or even answer questions. Liston was pulled over by the police many many times and the harrasment did not stop when he became world's champion. Louis says he leaned forwards from the passanger side and said,

    "sir, could you please give him a break?"

    He said that he felt the trooper hadn't recognised him because he became very excited when he saw Joe, demanding autographs, apologising to Sonny, asking Louis all kinds of questions about his fights and what he was doing now. Still Sonny never moved.

    After the trooper was gone, Liston took Louis straight home.

    Right click on any picture on the net you see and save it to your comouter. Then when on here, go to User CP at the top left, Edit Avatar when you get there, Browse, and find the picture that you saved and click on it. Then just go to Save Changes and your avatar should be up.
