Props to Floyd. People can say what they will about mosley but at some point you gotta stop taking away from his opponents and give credit where credit is due. He may not speak respectfully of his opponents and that's why fans in turn don't give him respect- but the man dosent lie, he's done everything he said he would- and that take balls. He answered every doubt people had of him with regards to his abilty to overcome adversity and his willingness to engage. What more do you people want? Sure he s not as exciting as PAC or Trinidad- but the man has developed and mastered a style that is boxing at it's most sophisticated. People will try to emulate his style for years to come . In terms of he and PAC , this is like a debate whoever speaks last seems to have the momentum- and the leverage- and this final statement by mayweather was a powerful one, perhaps enough to sway public opinion in his favor with th osdt and purse split. We can all talk **** about Floyd all we like - but he's beaten every man he's fought convincingly- that takes greatness. If you'd bet on Floyd 41 times- you'd have won 41 times- simple as that. He and PAC are great- let's agree on that- and just hope we get the fight we all want. All the talk before dosent mean ****, it's like pre- game atthe superbowl- it's irrelevant- debating won't win a fight for either man by his fans- let's just get thik in the ring and ring the bell already.
Many do not understand that fighters look better against poorer opposition than they do against richer. We are not talking money either, but it is apt enough in this case. Basic boxing knowledge is needed to understand how good Floyd is.
props to floyd. he is a great fighter and an extraordinary one. he made a great fight irregardless of shane's age. i want mosley to win but deep inside i prefer floyd so that it would settle a fight between him and pacquiao who is also a great fighter. i just hope that both parties would work it out and stop with those egotistical demands.
