Give the man the respect he deserves!!!

You guys (not all of you, but a lot) are embarrassing. In the uk we respect fighters, we respect the art, the fact that a boxer dedicates time to get himself into the best shape possible, to then go into a ring and face another man that has dedicated the same time...this is the sport of boxing. It's no easy feat.

You dudes (again not all of you, but a lot) are haters and an embarrassment. Floyd gets love in the uk, more so after the hatton win because we respect his skills. In the u.k we respect the art, you guys just wanna see brawls and gatti (r.i.p) vs ward every fight. (no wonder ufc is so popular over there LOL!

Floyd puts on a masterclass last night, a clinic, the art of hitting without being hit all you lot focus on is who you can put floyd up against next so you can finally see him take that L you crave desperately.

You dont give him respect (not all of you, but a lot), the excuses begin. nOW Mosely is the great hater hope for the masses. Mosely doesnt deserve a shot, he should weight in line and learn some manners.

Whats the deal with people thinking it's cool to crash another persons time of celebration. Kanye, Lil mama, now Shane Mosely...LOL!!

Floyd will face who he needs to face, Mosely's disrespecting Clottey by overlooking him, the guy needs to focus on his fight ahead instead of behaving so desperate, it didnt suit him and it seems the win over Margo has gassed this guy into behaving out of character. All the haters will have to wait for the next fighter to challenge Floyd.

All Floyd can do is beat who he has infron of him, so far he's doing "pretty" well.

We're not talking personal, we're talking fans having repect for the boxing skill of a boxer.

This element of thinking seems foreign to you dudes across the pond. It's like you waiting for Floyd to lose, dying for Floyd to lose.

We got Calzaghe and we werent hating on him, yes they're differen personallities, but we respect and give props to Floyd just the same. You cant deny his talent, but when you do all you sound like are haters.

 

So marquez is now a c class fighter? Is that what your saying? Mis-matched? So al lthe "experts" that were predicting an upset were just hyping the figt?

The fight was suppose to be competitive, if you know marquez you know if he's gonna be anything he's gonna be competitve and gonna fight. Floyd has had 2 years off, Clijster had 2 years off and she wins the open and gets the respect she deserved, even had she not won she would have got the respect she deserves. No one mentions that the women's tennis game is underskills, they just give the respect where it's due.

We in boxing should be on that same level. The hating in the states is shocking. Before the Hatton fight, Foyd was kinda hated in the UK, we thought (not myself) that he was all mouth and that he wouldnt be able to adapt to the pressure, now he gets mad respect in the U,K and i think he enjoys that.

If you guys dont want him we'll adopt Floyd as our pound for pound champ LOL!!

So he gets no respect for out classing Marquez? O.K. See in the UK respect you for getting in the ring and squaring up period, i guesswe're different. As i said in my OP the dude has to get his respect as a boxer period. If you've never trained for something to then put all you've trained for on the line then i guess you wouldnt understand.

You must be a boxing pugilist, not even i expected a performance from a boxer that has been out of the game for such a time.
