Give Vitali some credit

I had Vitali winning every round.

 

I give him credit for getting the win and coming back after a long layoff due to injury. But I'm not going to also ignore the fact that he didn't look great, was gassed early and seems to have slowed.

 

Vitali's injuries are probably the result of his steroid abuse as evidenced by his failing a drug test back in the 1990's.

Oh, you mean the drug given to him by an MD for a foot injury. Vitali does not even drink alcohol, except a glass of wine on Sundays. They stay in shape year round. Vitali is the best heavyweight in the world today, Vlad is right next to him, they have made heavyweight history. They are they very best.

 

I give Vitali much credit, and he is one of the great HW champions I have seen ever, and I have seen HW boxing for many years now. I even listened to Rocky Marciano on the radio !

Now, Gomez has a lot of respect and gives lots of credit to Vitali, I tell you, because of the beating he took tonight. And all of the opponents that lost to Vitali, gives him credit too because of the beatings.

But, what is funny, the guy who beat Vitali (luckily), that's Lennox Lewis, has the most credit and respect for Vitali, and that is why he retired and didn't want a 70 million dollar rematch. His guardian angel must have saved Lennox that night against Vitali.

 

Yeah, the same drug Andy Pettitte was given for an injury and the same drug Shane Mosley and Fernando Vargas was "tricked" into taking.

Man, you Klitschko fans are something. Vitali is a proven juicer, cheater, and quitter. Live with it.

How did Vitali win International amateur championships/ world Military championships? Six time world kickboxing champion both pro and amateur? WBO and two time WBC champion. He tested positive for steroids. That is considered cheating.

He retired on his stool against Byrd when he was shutting Byrd out on points and with only 3 rounds to go. That is considered quitting.

Surgery took over 2 hours. Vitali's arm went numb, which means possible nerve damage, he was beating Byrd with one arm, but decided he did not want to throw away his entire boxing career. I am glad Vitali used his brain because he became champion again two times. You are a parrot of Teddy Atlas, his exact words. Teddy said that Michael Grant was the future of the heavyweight division, so I guess you agree? Also, Teddy said that Kirk Johnson would knock Vitali out, but Kirk Johnson was knocked out in the 2nd round. I guess your heroes aren't doing so well.

 

Or Vitali could've just fought with one arm for 3 more rounds against a feather-fisted Byrd and won an easy decision. Then there wouldn't be the stigma of "quitter" being associated with him for the rest of his life.

If a nerve is seriously damaged, it can ruin a career. Buddy McGirt waited too long for his surgery, he was never the same. One punch on the never would cut it. Vitali knew what he was doing, thus his Doctorate in Sports Science, taught him well.

 

And in doing so, he will be forever labeled as a quitter.
