Given that Vitali has not lost to Lewis and Byrd, where would you rank him all time?

If he beat norton a shot against holmes was realistic, and I was basing my fantasy fight of holmes/bobick on their amateur bout, which really happened, where bobick put holmes on his arse in the first round on his way to a win

  2. What a head**** of a thread. Im confused.

It's a good thread you can change the result of fights, and then make up an atg list based on stuff that didnt happen.
Henry cooper didnt lose to ali in 63 he was never cut, and he knocked out ali, then he knocked out liston in the first round, cooper is top ten ATG, slightly ahead of duane bobick, who is also top ten now

Ok, cool. I believe he was pretty good. To "make" him a very top ATG the way you can do it with Vitali is still not nearly as easy though. No contest.

This thread is another counter shot aimed at Klitschko haters. I changed his career very, very little and no hater wants to give a serious answer because they fear what they would have to say. The truth is - my scenarioo is so realistic that it's almost real.

And what spot would Vit take in it? :think

While people are saying that he's not even top 20. :yep

We'd have to give him a loss against Solis though, he was losing every round of that fight up until the injury.

Boston Tom McMustache deserves a mention as well.

If Vitali hadn't been cut against Lennox, he would have been KO'd eventually.

But he did lose to Lewis, legitimately.

I will not "give " it to him.

"Given that Tyson was never knocked out by Douglas, never raped that woman, and re-dedicated himself, got in a time machine and went back and beat Ali and Louis back to back and went on to retire with a record of 78-0, where would you rank him all time?"

Vitali never got convincingly beaten and never had trouble with dedication, work ethics etc.

Tyson got clearly KTFO'd by Douglas.

Lewis ducked Vitali rematch despite he promised it.

Vitali's only fault may be quitting against Byrd.

He was never ever dominated in the ring. And the Lewis fight shows this wasn't only the case against "bums".

    Facts.

I'm not saying he won the Lewis fight because he lost legitimately although Lewis was lucky and wanted no part of him again. But it's clear to me he was on Lewis level - bit better, bit worse, whatever... Yet some people have Lewis #3 and Vit unranked

    Klitschko haters are ridiculous

I don't think what you're saying is as realistic as you think it is, if vitali didnt suffer the cut above his eye, the two cuts on his cheek and the cut to the inside of his mouth, I dont think he would have stopped lewis, look at the end of the sixth he is barely managing to hang on to lewis, that did not look like someone that was going to win.

Tyson was inches away from beating Douglas. Much closer than Vitali was from beating Lewis
Its much more likely scenario. Vitali had won couple of rounds but was getting **** kicked out of him when fight was stopped

And yes your thread is indeed ridiculous

Cuts may have taken some steam off him. And Lewis wasn't a fresh flower himself. I heard that to many people ringside it was clear that Lennox is done. Yeah, it could go either way but it's Lewis who ducked the promised rematch. And he's not a man that breaks the given word easily...

    Correct :good

Saying "yeah ok" when sore loser is going berserk in the ring is not some holy promise of a rematch

i dont quite understand some peoples thinking....

if you lose on cuts, you LOSE. it doesnt matter if you were sweeping the scorecards! it doesnt matter if you had KD your opponents 10 times every round. if you lose on cuts its a loss!

whats with this ''give it to him'' nonsense.
if vitali was a better fighter he would not have got caught like that and sliced up in the way he did.
