First off, I had GGG winning 7-5. However, anyone who has watched boxing knows that if Canelo was even remotely competitive he was going to get the win. Look back at his fight with Money Mayweather...I mean..dude got a 114-114!!! No way that fight was that close and Floyd WAS boxing at that point.(Meaning he was the mega superstar) Canelo put up an excellent fight against Golovkin and improved his stock in this fight. I really enjoyed it. Boxing is hardly ever fair, but Golovkin knew this coming in, he knew he needed to win 9 convincing rounds, or better yet a K.O. to get a win. He didn't do it. The "L" is the correct result. You can complain about fairness and corruption all you want, but that is boxing, like it or not and it isn't gonna change. Golovkins post fight behaviour was interesting to me. I know he went to get stitches, but still ...he didn't handle that like a champion.
