Didn't particularly notice Cotto being 'crucified' for his last fight.

Nor did we see Lennox Lewis crucified for his homecoming with Frans Botha

Nor did we see Witter crucified for his defence against Morua

But its obviously different for Hatton to have a 75/25 fight after his first loss

It's all about his attitude to Witter. It's as simple as that.

To be honest i would be pissed off if Witter hounded me as he has done Hatton throughout his career. But.....i would want to kick his ass

Or Calzaghe vs Manfredo and the 50000 fans that went to it but nothing is said(ie the fans aren't "thick as ****"). But that was ok because it was to get Primetime American exposure, how about he got off his arse and went to the States and fought a tough fight?

Don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of Calzaghe but sometimes it's double standards. If Froch wins a title are we going to hear everyone screaming Calzaghe is ducking Froch?

hatton is generally rated as the champion of the 140 division with witter in the number one spot by most boxing publications and websites.

froch even with a title is still likely to be behind mundine, andrade and kessler in the rankings. so no.

what the hell are you talking about?

have you just started watchng boxing?

the calzaghe fight was on at 11pm

and everyone crucified him for not fighting kessler and accused him of being afraid and ducking, but you know what he did?

    he proved everyone wrong.

And Hatton's were Floyd Mayweather, Jose Luis Castillo, Juan Urango and Luis Collazo, what's your point?

    I blame the turnbuckle

8 pounds for a month of sports as opposed to 15 pounds for two men hugging in a ring for about half an hour
