Glad to see Larry Merchant back

He's still good. But he's really old, and he can't do it forever unfortunately.

 

The post fight closing thoughts are getting worse and worse. Did you watch him try to pronounce defibrillator? He hardly made any sense in his final words. I don't want to see a tragic end on camera with him making a fool outta himself so his fights should be numbered.

 

Merchant is terrible imo.

 

Yeah right. They keep Lennox on, and he's half Larry's age and 10 times as bad.

 

Then let Max get his feet wet. Or bring it Bob Papa or Joe T.

Lennox needs some training.

 

I don't think Lennox can improve.

Thats 1 thing i like about Larry is he can say great jokes that makes me laugh like crazy. Yes Larry is really old and all that but atleast he don't say alot of stupid stuff like Max does all the damn time.

 

Alcoholic or not, Merchant tells it like it really is.

 

He looked like he might kick the bucket there and then when he attempted to interview Vitali.

The first 60 seconds of dialogue went something like this
"...................(30 seconds of Larry with a look as though he is on the verge of saying something).........Vitali (first word)..........................(the second 30 seconds, Larry trying to hammer out his second word)".

 

He's getting really slow, but i still appreciate him. One of the greatest boxing broadcasters ever. And still a million times better than Kellerman.
