"Glass Chin" term used incorrectly.

    I'm sick of people saying somebody has a glass chin after a KO loss. Somebody with a glass chin gets rocked or knocked out by weak punches that shouldn't do that much damage. Some say Paul Williams has a glass chin after getting koed which is ******ed because he got hit with a ko punch. His face was coming into Sergio's left hook. Just because somebody gets koed with a tremendously hard punch does not make them glass-chinned! Example of a glass chin is Tommy Morrison . . .

    I've got to say Lennox Lewis' chin is questioned way too much because it was pretty solid. Herbie Hide now that's the definition of a glass jaw.

    Nah those bombs maidana landed would have put him to sleep if he had glass chin. His chin is not the best but it ain't glass.

    He JUMPED into a punch. That is pure recklessness and a guaranteed knockout regardless of your chin.

    Dude, c'mon, yes, we know Arlovski has a glass chin, but that punch would have KOd a lot of other fighters.

    :good I agree. I get tired of sticking up for Hearns.

    Hearns' jaw was not the best, but it certainly wasn't glass. His real problem was a sometimes reckless defence and the shots he took from Hagler and Barkley would have KO'd just about anyone.

    Glass Jaws EXIST in boxing - and more fighters have them that you apparently want to admit. When a fighter gets taken out brutally, particularly when it happens multiple times - sorry, that's pretty solid evidence a fighter has glass chin.

    I'll say Gamboa, I think he has a good chin but has been questioned because a couple of wrong calls.
