Glass Jaw Chad Dawson needs to take a leaf out of Chavez's book

  1. Just woke up and watched the dramatic last round on YouTube. It would appear that Martinez dominated Chavez, but that last round was crazy. Maravilla was nearly out on his feet. :patsch

Despite him being a 'roided up Cruiserweight hypejob who was receiving a beating, he at least showed some Heart and it nearly paid off at the end.:deal

Bad Glass Jawson is not too dissimilar to Chavez; another HBO hypejob who got exposed big time, except Jawson showed in his recent fight that he has no Chin and no Heart. That is the difference.

It was only as "dramatic" as Martinez allowed it to be.

Ward would make Junior quit as well.

Junior looked mentally beaten between rounds at SEVERAL points tonight.

Martinez, like a dumbass, stood and traded in the 12th and Junior ALMOST got lucky. That's all it was.

Ward would beat the ever living ****in **** outta Junior every second of every round, until Roach gets tired of it and calls the fight off.

Ward-Chavez Jr would look like Mayweather-Gatti.

Luckily for Junior, that fight will never happen. Arum/Top Rank would never let Junior get within 100 miles of Ward, especially after Martinez exposed how limited he is tonight.

Before tonight I thought a dominate Martinez Victory would convence him of taking a step up in class against Ward.. but after that 12th round he to has shown flaws.. Most people Know Ward eats flaws and mistakes for Lunch.. so now what fight does Ward have..??

I'm not sure he would. He could genuinely stop Chavez before it even reached that point, and do so fairly early.

When I spoke to Virgil, he mentioned Ward deserves some lesser level opponents than many champions defend against (and he used Josesito-Canelo as a specific example of this).

He said, in his opinion, he wouldn't mind seeing Ward in with guys like Andy Lee, Marco Antonio Rubio, or Manfredo.

There is no question that Glass Jawson doesn't have half the chin of Chavez, Jr. Which is why Chavez will have a longer career. Dawson's time at the top is basically done, and his fragile whiskers are a big reasons this is the case!

What self proclaimed boxing fan would neglect to watch that fight and choose only to watch the last round on youtube instead?...

  11. Great post Zakman. Bad Glass Jawson has no Chin. None.:deal

  12. I wasn't staying up until stupid o'clock to watch that freak show. I am glad Martinez beat up that 'roided Cruiserweight drug cheat. Now maybe we can get a proper MW championship fight. :deal
