I wouldn't say Fury has a glass jaw, but he's been down enough times to suggest his chin isn't iron. Fury has a ton of heart though, some fighters like Gatti, Benn etc go down a lot but are near impossible to keep down and when downed tend to be even more dangerous and we saw that with Fury down twice but then got up and hurt Wilder twice. He did the same thing vs Cunningham too.

Wilder still obviously hits very hard but as the thread a while back here suggested, his power isn't all that. He looks great KOing guys like a shot Stiverne or an old Ortiz who's spent a career avoiding punchers if you look at his record, but at the elite level his power isn't as impressive.

And I don't think Fury fans are saying Wilder is the hardest puncher ever, far from it.

Give it a rest you useless dosser. Pre fight you were slating Fury and saying he was getting sparked. He wins the fight and now you are continuing to disparage him. Fury may have a tendency to be put on his back but he gets back up. His resilience is second to none.

If you genuinely believe Fury has a "glass jaw" based on Saturday, you not only know nothing about boxing, but you're also a moron

Seems to be one of the best at recovering that I've ever seen. He's hit the canvass about five times in his career now, and every time he's got up with strong legs, and pushed the opponent back. Guys with glass jaws are incapable of that.

His chin is good. His recovery is one of the best i have ever seen.

He was hit at the back of the head, behind the ears, went down. Nothing special. Crucial point of the head to get hit. He was hit by a straight right and left hook combo by one of the hardest punchers in the division, went down, so what?

The Cunningham and Pajkic KDs were clean shots to the temple. A lot of guys would go down. He had a bad defense there, was completly open.

I think you've got Fury confused with Audley Harrison

A glass jaw would still be unconscious from those shots in round 12 not up and fighting back. Time to reassess what you consider a glass jaw.

First one was more of a flash knockdown. Second one he was caught absolutely flush, he managed to get up and recovered to put some great punches on Wilder. To his credit, I can’t imagine any other heavyweight doing the same. Fury really surprised me.

So glass jaw means you cant recover? Wow! This must a medical first lol.

No glass jaw means you cant take a shot and react instantly it. The rate of recovery has nothing to do with it.

Punch resistance has two layers I guess: The initial impact and the aftermath. Fury's jaw is okay but can be found, but his ability to shake off the effects - on the basis of what happened at the weekend - is incredible. It's like rebooting an SSD compared to a hard drive after a blue screen of death...

Fury is just lucky it wasn’t stopped. He had his eyes closed with his head to the side...8 out 10 refs would’ve stopped it. I think a guy like Kenny Bayless would’ve.
