Linares and Enzo. Hatton got caught with a perfect shot and Jones was still awake so they miss the top spots.
LOL -- that had me laughing out loud. I love it! I have an image of Rico in a tool shop with goggles on diligently working to craft the 2009 Glass Jaw Award. First thoughts from me are Hatton in the Pacquiao fight and, of course, perennial candidate Roy Jones, Jr. for the Danny Green beatdown.
has to be dmitriy salita... enzo maccarinelli comes in a close 2nd but salita is top for me!!! i would just like to add that, for anyone voting for jones, he didnt get hit in the chin, he was hit square in the temple so not sure if that counts!!! :!:
borrinnngggggggggggggggggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Probably salita, but people saying hatton thats a bit outlandish the punch what ended the fight by pac would have Knocked out anybody in the LW division.
We don't know that. What we know is that that punch shattered Hatton's Glass Jaw. The punches he was knocked down by before the KO were not hard punches at all. And they essentially had Ricky out on his feet for the whole 2 rounds of the fight. I don't think he ever really recovered from the first knockdown. Hatton has a fragile Glass Jaw.
Strong contenders in the form of Jones (that last fight should've confirmed to even his biggest fans that he's got a glass baby), Maccarinelli, Khan, Salita.......but this year's winner has to be Hatton. when was the last time Pac or PBF starched someone like they did Hatton? Guy's got a seriously eggy chin.
Brian Strege then, Jermaine Taylor has to be up there, Hatton deserves a mention, and that Glass jaw fraud RJJ.
PBF did a good job against the late gatti and corrales and none of them would have a glass jaw apart from gatti late in his career.
