@ HomeJerome or whoever you are. I am someones alt if i go against what you said? I don't know who the other guy is but i am not him. You can't reply to me in a rational manner so you resort to childish allegations. That's how to win arguments isn't it just spout out blatant lies.
Maidana is very limited. He didn't impress against Corley. But Khan's chin seems to be really really bad. Maidana can definitely punch.
That's all it's gonna take. Khan may be the more naturally talented fighter, but who cares? It doesn't matter how much natural ability you have, when you get wobbled by JABS!!!!!:rofl
Khan was clearly weight drained at 135, the haters will see Dec 11th that Khan won't have any problems taking Maidana's shots from distance time to time. The key is not to let Maidana close and plant his feet to get off his power swings. Khan is going to pick this guy apart and KO him in the late rounds.
But here is why people get sick of you and this obsession. If Khan wins in brilliant style, it totally disproves your argument. Of course chins matter, and a guy with a chin like Khans is going to get KOd again and a guy with a great chin has a huge advantage in his favour. But boxing is more than power and more than chins. If you have both...great. If you have speed and skill and other gifts...but not power or a chin, it does not stop you being a great fighter. So if Khan wins in stunning fashion, rather than accept that despite his chin he has won a world title and thrashed a murderous puncher who is a world level challenger, you will just say "It's only a matter of time, wait until he fights Alexander or Bradley". So you wont give credit. You wont recognise that focusing solely on chin is ******ed and has been proven to be stupid by Khan beating Maidana. If Khan then whipped Alexander and Bradley. You would just say "It's a matter of time" despite him unifying the division. And then if he went on a 10 match defence as Ring Champion beating everyone and then moved up a weight and got KOd you would be on here saying "Told you so" as if you were ****ing Nostradamus. Yeah he will be KOd again. But then most fighters get KOd at some point, even those with good chins (and Khans chin is indeed shocking), but it is a juvenile obsession and ignores all the other key facets of boxing. I mean I'm sure you laugh about RJJs glass jaw, but he didn't exactly have a **** career did he? Middleweight champ up to winning a heavyweight title, whipping some great fighters on the way and being one of the most exciting and dynamic fighters in living memory when he was in full swing.
That sums it up perfectly. Which is fine, so long as he never, ever wants anyone to take anything he says seriously. However, juvenile obsessions are not good for those who would enjoy some credibility.
The only question about this fight is what excuse you haters are going to have when Khan wins. Speed kills, Maidana's too crude and is chinny himself. Khan's defense has tightened and I see him nipping in range firing off his shots and then nipping out of harms way. Repeat x100 until a stoppage or UD. PEACE.
When one is the more talented(by a lot) than the other you have to care. I still believe Maidana wins late by KO, because he'll chase Khan too much that will make him run out of gas, and finally catches him late with a body punch. Both will be exhausted(but the chaser gets one flush) and Khan with a comfortable lead on the cards, but Maidana makes him quit in the 10th. If Khan passes this one I'll respect him, but I don't think it will happen(even with all the advantages he has).
:rofl:rofl:rofl You joke. Khan says he eats whatever he wants at 140 so he was clearly not drained at 135.:yep What will your excuse be when Maidana lays him out? Weight drained again? Lucky punch? Or the usual "that punch would have KOd anyone" line.:roflatsch
